Job Summary

To support a growing demand for virtual services, the contracted Remote American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter will provide timely and accurate interpretation via Video Remote for medical and general community settings while maintaining compliance with ethical standards and patient confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide virtual interpretation services for clients, focusing on medical and general community settings
• Ensure accurate interpretation of critical information while adhering to applicable ethics and standards
• Complete daily activity logs and participate in ongoing educational programs

Required qualifications

• Verification of ASL proficiency through National ASL Certification (RID) and/or EIPA 3.7+ and/or BEI
• State License or Registration as required by the state of residence
• At least 1 year of relevant interpreting experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Intermediate level computer skills and must reside in the USA
