State Licensed Assistant Clinical Director

Job Summary

To support the clinical services department, the full-time remote Assistant Clinical Director, Clinical Reporting will oversee the timely and accurate generation of clinical diagnostic reports while collaborating with laboratory teams to ensure compliance and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the clinical reporting team, including workload prioritization and staffing
• Oversee the generation, review, and finalization of clinical diagnostic reports for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency of report content and improve turnaround times

Required qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DO) in Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related clinical field
• Board certification (e.g., ABMGG or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in clinical diagnostics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong familiarity with genetic testing workflows and clinical reporting standards
• Experience with CAP/CLIA regulations and clinical laboratory quality management systems
