State Licensed Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate and commercial agreements
• Provide legal advice on new business initiatives and assess potential legal risks
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support contract management and achieve business objectives

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited institution; admitted to practice law in at least one state
• 7 to 10 years of relevant legal experience, with in-house experience preferred
• Background in employee benefits, Medicare, health insurance, or financial regulations preferred
• Strong legal contracting background
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
