Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel to support its commercial contracting, privacy, compliance, and legal operations functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various client and vendor agreements while analyzing contractual risks
- Support privacy and compliance requirements in commercial agreements and collaborate with internal teams
- Design and implement scalable legal processes and optimize legal technology tools
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 6-8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house role
- Admission to a U.S. state bar in good standing
- Significant experience in commercial contracting and knowledge of U.S. privacy laws
- Experience in improving legal workflows or implementing legal technology tools
