State Licensed Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel, Security Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and maintain contract templates
• Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to cybersecurity products throughout their lifecycle
• Provide counsel on marketing, privacy, IP, and governance matters while supporting internal policies and training

Required Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to at least one US state bar
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience in commercial transactions, technology, insurance, or financial services
• Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Strong business judgment and ability to provide practical, solutions-oriented advice
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions and time zones
