Job Summary
Driving optimization of the GTM Legal strategy, the full-time remote State Licensed Assistant General Counsel will oversee the development of customer-focused legal terms, manage high-value SaaS transactions, and provide strategic legal advice to support growth initiatives in regulated industries such as healthcare and financial services.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor on business and legal issues, managing legal risks and supporting contract negotiations
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to align legal strategies with business objectives and improve contract processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to innovate legal approaches and enhance customer experience in transactions
Required qualifications:
- J.D. Degree and membership in at least one U.S. State bar
- 15+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with 10+ years in regulated industries, preferably healthcare or financial services
- Deep experience in customer-facing transactions, particularly in enterprise software/SaaS and professional services
- CIPP/E Certification or strong understanding of global data privacy and security laws
- Exceptional contract negotiation and drafting skills, with a proven ability to influence and advocate for business interests
