Job Summary

To support corporate transactions in technology services, the full-time State Licensed Assistant General Counsel will manage contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management while working remotely within the U.S.

Key responsibilities
  • Own and manage all aspects of technology contracts, including drafting and negotiating Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and licensing agreements
  • Identify and assess potential legal risks, providing recommendations for risk mitigation and escalating issues as necessary
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations while assisting senior counsel with complex legal assignments
Required qualifications
  • JD from an accredited law school and membership in good standing of any United States state bar
  • 5-6 years of experience in law, either in a firm or corporate setting
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law and contract drafting related to service delivery
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms, such as LexisNexis
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously and interface with various stakeholders effectively
