State Licensed Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

Guiding global IP strategy for a cloud-native cybersecurity platform, the full-time State Licensed Assistant General Counsel will lead a team in developing and managing patent prosecution strategies, overseeing trademark portfolios, and implementing AI-enabled workflows, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a global patent prosecution strategy aligned with product roadmaps and market indicators
• Oversee trademark clearance processes and manage CrowdStrike's global trademark portfolio
• Evaluate and implement AI-enabled workflows across the IP function to enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership in the state of residence, with eligibility to practice as registered in-house counsel and admitted to practice before the USPTO
• 15+ years of relevant IP experience, including team management
• Extensive experience in prosecuting patentable technologies in software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, and/or AI
• Expertise in managing global patent portfolios and trademark, copyright, and trade secret law
• Demonstrated fluency in AI applications within legal and IP workflows
