Job Summary
To support corporate transactions in technology services, the full-time remote State Licensed Assistant General Counsel will manage contract drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment while collaborating with business partners and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage all aspects of technology contracts, including drafting and negotiating Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and licensing agreements
- Identify and assess potential legal risks associated with projects and provide recommendations for risk mitigation
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal questions as assigned by senior counsel
Required qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school and membership in good standing of any U.S. state bar
- 5-6 years of experience in law, either in a firm or corporate setting
- Knowledge of corporate law and contract drafting related to service delivery
- Experience with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple legal matters simultaneously
