State Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

To support the legal needs of a private jet operator, the full-time State Licensed Associate Attorney will manage day-to-day legal matters, assist with drafting and negotiating contracts, and provide legal advice across various departments in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft contracts, assist in potential litigation, and advise on department-specific legal issues
• Draft and negotiate operational agreements, including Master Services Agreements and service agreements
• Support the Legal Department's daily operations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 2-4 years of practice with an established law firm or relevant in-house counsel experience
• Proficient experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
• Knowledge of statutes, rules, and regulations pertaining to businesses
