Job Summary
To support the legal needs of a private jet operator, the full-time State Licensed Associate Attorney will manage day-to-day legal matters, assist with drafting and negotiating contracts, and provide legal advice across various departments in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and draft contracts, assist in potential litigation, and advise on department-specific legal issues
- Draft and negotiate operational agreements, including Master Services Agreements and service agreements
- Support the Legal Department's daily operations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 2-4 years of practice with an established law firm or relevant in-house counsel experience
- Proficient experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
- Knowledge of statutes, rules, and regulations pertaining to businesses
