Job Summary
To support GMR Clinical Practices and quality improvement initiatives, the full-time remote State Licensed Associate Chief Medical Officer will manage clinical education, oversee performance monitoring, and implement practice guidelines while collaborating with regional and specialty leadership teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership and expertise to clinical practitioners delivering emergency and non-emergency care across various settings
- Coordinate the development and implementation of practice guidelines, educational programs, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support patient safety initiatives and maintain compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- Licensed physician board certified in an appropriate specialty; EMS board certification preferred
- Minimum 10 years' experience in an EMS system as a Medical Director
- Strong EMS background with experience in benchmarking, outcomes measurement, and quality tool development
- Working knowledge of accreditation standards and processes
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute strategic objectives effectively
