State Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

Advising on a broad range of legal issues, the remote State Licensed Associate Counsel will review, draft, and negotiate various contracts while collaborating with multi-functional teams on compliance and corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including employment agreements and vendor agreements
• Partner with internal teams to develop policies and ensure legal compliance across the organization
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction-related agreements

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Member in good standing of at least one State Bar or the District of Columbia State Bar
• Two or more years of related work experience
• Experience in employment law and/or mergers and acquisitions practice is preferred
• Proficiency in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts
