State Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its remote in-house global legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, revise, and negotiate commercial contracts, amendments, and data protection agreements
• Ensure compliance of transactional documents and company initiatives with legal requirements and policies
• Collaborate with Sales to support negotiation processes and provide internal training on transactional issues

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. degree and active law license in one U.S. state or District of Columbia
• Understanding of data privacy principles (GDPR, CCPA, and U.K. privacy law) preferred
• Law firm experience is preferred
• Ability to make well-reasoned legal and business judgments
• Hands-on attitude and results-oriented mentality
