State Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Counsel - Fiber/Telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of various agreements, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Maintain compliance by monitoring changes in laws and assisting with internal compliance programs
• Support litigation matters by managing diligence, coordinating with outside counsel, and organizing documentation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with bar admission in at least one U.S. state
• 2 to 3+ years of experience in private practice or in-house, preferably in telecommunications or a regulated industry
• Proven ability in contracts, litigation, or regulatory compliance
• Experience in managing internal legal functions and interfacing with outside counsel
• Exceptional research and analytical skills for complex legal issues
