State Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

Serving as a strategic partner to the business, the full-time remote Associate Commercial Counsel will draft, negotiate, and review contracts while refining contractual workflows to support ActiveCampaign's global growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Counsel and senior management with various legal issues related to the business
• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, including customer and vendor agreements and NDAs
• Partner with internal departments to identify legal risks and streamline contractual processes

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree and Juris Doctorate degree
• Active membership in good standing with a State Bar
• 3+ years of experience in transactional, commercial, or corporate law, preferably in a SaaS or technology context
• Proven experience in negotiating contracts and designing legal resources
• Familiarity with global data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA
