Job Summary
Providing 100% transactional support, the full-time State Licensed Associate Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate construction and project-based agreements in a remote capacity while collaborating closely with business teams to address real-time deal needs.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to construction and project work
- Partner with business stakeholders to solve execution needs and ensure compliance
- Manage a high volume of contracts independently while providing legal guidance
Required qualifications
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 7-10+ years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation, preferably in construction or related fields
- Demonstrated experience managing contracts independently
- Familiarity with construction contracting concepts such as indemnity and risk allocation
