State Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

Advising on a broad range of legal issues, the remote State Licensed Associate Counsel will review, draft, and negotiate various contracts while collaborating with multi-functional teams on compliance and corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts including employment agreements and vendor agreements
• Partner with internal teams to ensure legal compliance and develop company policies
• Support merger and acquisition activities by reviewing transaction-related agreements and preparing due diligence information

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Member in good standing of at least one State Bar or the District of Columbia State Bar
• Three or more years of experience in corporate transactional law
• Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts
• Preferred experience in employment law and/or mergers and acquisitions practice
