State Licensed Associate Dean of Nursing

Job Summary

To lead innovative experiential education, the full-time Associate Dean of Experiential Learning will provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership for experiential education across the School of Nursing, focusing on simulation, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences, with the option to work remotely for highly qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for experiential education, establishing consistent standards across all programs and modalities
• Provide leadership and oversight for experiential education leaders, supporting faculty development and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements while driving operational excellence in experiential learning environments

Required qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license (state or compact license)
• Doctoral degree required
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in nursing education with progressive leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience leading academic teams and developing faculty
• Strong understanding of experiential learning, nursing education, and academic program quality
