State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced attorney, the full-time remote State Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage complex litigation matters, advise on legal strategies, and collaborate with the litigation team on restrictive covenant and E&O issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a variety of litigation and pre-litigation matters, including restrictive covenant litigation and general commercial disputes
• Provide leadership and counsel on litigation strategy, serving as the primary liaison to outside counsel
• Prepare quarterly litigation updates for executive leadership and evaluate potential legal exposures across all lines of business

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one state
• 3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or in-house role
• Preferred experience in insurance defense and restrictive covenants
• Employment experience is a strong plus
• Familiarity with Smartsheets and Claude is a plus
