Job Summary
Seeking an experienced attorney, the full-time remote State Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage complex litigation matters, advise on legal strategies, and collaborate with the litigation team on restrictive covenant and E&O issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of litigation and pre-litigation matters, including restrictive covenant litigation and general commercial disputes
- Provide leadership and counsel on litigation strategy, serving as the primary liaison to outside counsel
- Prepare quarterly litigation updates for executive leadership and evaluate potential legal exposures across all lines of business
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one state
- 3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or in-house role
- Preferred experience in insurance defense and restrictive covenants
- Employment experience is a strong plus
- Familiarity with Smartsheets and Claude is a plus
