Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel - Product & Privacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise engineering and product teams on legal and regulatory issues throughout the product development lifecycle
• Provide counsel on privacy and data protection matters, ensuring compliance with global regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience in product counseling for consumer technology companies, including a minimum of 3 years of in-house experience
• Experience advising software product managers and engineers on consumer protection and privacy matters
• J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar
