State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel to provide legal advice and counsel across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global privacy compliance efforts and oversee privacy operations
• Negotiate and enforce commercial contracts while managing procurement and vendor agreements
• Advise on legal implications for product features and support employment and corporate governance matters

Required Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in at least one US state
• J.D. from an accredited law school with 5-8 years of relevant legal experience
• Experience as counsel for a SaaS company is required
• Familiarity with SaaS procurement models and privacy program scaling
• Experience managing legal operations and outside counsel strategy
