State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel, Strategy and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Strategy and Procurement vertical within the Commercial Legal Team, providing legal counsel and negotiating various agreements
• Oversee and develop a team of legal professionals, ensuring effective coverage and support for enterprise needs
• Manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school and a member of the bar in at least one state
• 10+ years of experience as a practicing attorney with expertise in drafting and negotiating complex agreements
• 5+ years of in-house legal experience supporting multiple departments
• 7+ years of experience with contracts related to data rights and intellectual property
• 3+ years of experience in training and onboarding junior legal staff
