State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel to provide legal support and advice across various areas critical to business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements to ensure compliance with company policies
• Protect the company's intellectual property rights and confidential information
• Assist with transactions including equity financing rounds and mergers & acquisitions

Required Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience as a legal advisor in international business transactions
• In-depth knowledge of commercial agreements and business law related to hardware, software, and SaaS
• Broad understanding of legal issues related to commercial transactions, corporate law, and intellectual property
• Lawyer in good standing with a provincial bar association of Canada or a state bar association in the USA
• Undergraduate law degree from an accredited law school
