State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel to oversee the management and administration of the Legal Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and guidance across business operations to manage risk and ensure compliance
• Negotiate high-impact agreements and manage corporate governance and equity plan administration
• Oversee the day-to-day management of the intellectual property portfolio and draft company policies

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• License to practice in any state
• Minimum seven years of experience, preferably with both law firm and in-house experience
• Health care experience is a plus
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage escalations appropriately
