State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel, Commercial Transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a legal advisor to Strategic Sourcing on contractual and risk considerations
• Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret complex commercial agreements
• Identify and manage legal risks related to procurement activities and support sourcing initiatives

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 8-10 years of legal practice with substantial experience in commercial contracts
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to manage multiple high priority matters and deliver pragmatic legal solutions
