State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

Providing high-quality legal support for complex business matters, the full-time State Licensed Associate General Counsel will operate remotely, focusing on commercial contracts, corporate strategy, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal analysis and support for commercial agreements, including drafting and negotiating contracts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corporate strategies and customer initiatives
• Oversee the trademark portfolio and manage intellectual property rights, including working with outside patent counsel

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. State Bar
• A minimum of ten years of legal experience, including significant experience in contract drafting and negotiation
• Experience with the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and international sales contracts
• Proven ability to influence senior partners and provide strategic legal advice aligned with business goals
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems, with strong organizational skills
