State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

Supporting the Automation & Motion Control segment, the full-time remote State Licensed Associate General Counsel will provide legal leadership on commercial, operational, and regulatory issues, focusing on government contracts and commercial agreements while partnering with various teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the AMC segment and support negotiation and execution of commercial agreements
• Provide guidance on government contracting requirements and compliance, including FAR/DFARS concepts
• Manage commercial disputes and collaborate with internal stakeholders on risk management and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a commercial lawyer with a focus on customer and supplier contracting
• JD from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or government-facing manufacturing businesses
• Understanding of government contracting, including compliance and audit exposure
• Experience in a publicly traded or highly regulated environment preferred
