State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

To support revenue growth, the full-time State Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage a team of transactional attorneys focused on negotiating and drafting revenue-generating contracts while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of transactional attorneys negotiating complex commercial contracts, particularly customer contracts
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to support revenue growth while managing legal risks
• Identify and address potential legal and business risks in contracts and create operational templates and enablement documents

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of legal experience with a focus on negotiating and drafting technology-related contracts
• Prior in-house counsel experience is a plus
• Experience with legal negotiation involving government entities and private companies
• Must be licensed to practice law in at least one US State and in good standing
• Experience using modern SaaS tools such as Slack, Salesforce, and Docusign
