State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote State Licensed Associate General Counsel, the candidate will independently negotiate commercial agreements, provide legal advice across various business teams, and support strategic initiatives in a growing SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including enterprise customer and SaaS agreements
• Provide timely legal advice to internal stakeholders, supporting revenue-generating initiatives
• Lead legal support for enterprise deals, ensuring compliance with privacy, security, and product-related requirements

Required qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Approximately 6+ years of relevant legal experience, with substantial commercial contracting experience
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate sophisticated B2B commercial agreements
• Strong knowledge of SaaS, technology, privacy, and data protection issues
• Excellent judgment and ability to manage a high volume of matters in a fast-paced environment
