Job Summary
Reporting to the General Counsel, the fully remote State Licensed Associate General Counsel will lead and support transactional and operational legal matters, providing practical legal advice on contracts, acquisitions, corporate governance, and more, while managing legal initiatives and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and maintain contract templates for consistency
- Support employment law compliance and lead legal due diligence for acquired entities
- Manage corporate governance responsibilities, including state filings and intellectual property coordination
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
- 8-10 years of experience in contract, employment, intellectual property, and transactional law
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
- Experience with acquisitions and corporate governance preferred
- Healthcare industry experience beneficial but not required
