Job Summary
To provide strategic leadership in Legal Administration, the full-time salaried State Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage client relationships, oversee legal compliance, and support business development initiatives while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the resolution of client service issues and manages the preparation of client SEC filings and board materials
- Supervises and mentors associates, ensuring effective performance and compliance with legal requirements
- Participates in sales presentations and provides legal support for onboarding new clients and special regulatory services
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience as a 1940 Act attorney
- J.D. and membership in the bar of at least one state
- 7-10 years of management and leadership experience
- Legal experience at a fund administrator or fund adviser
- Strong knowledge of the 1940 Act and related securities regulations
