State Licensed Associate General Counsel
Job Summary
To support the Finance team and capital markets initiatives, the remote State Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage legal aspects of ABS transactions, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and ensure compliance with SEC reporting obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as legal lead on ABS transactions, debt deals, and M&A transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and third-party contracts
- Manage outside counsel and track legal developments affecting the business
Required qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- 5+ years of relevant law firm experience or 7+ years of in-house legal experience
- Demonstrated experience with SEC reporting obligations and knowledge of SEC rules
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work independently
- A high standard of integrity and sound judgment
