Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time remote State Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage commercial agreements, provide product counseling, and advise on regulatory compliance while collaborating with various business units.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements and vendor contracts
- Advise on product development and launches, identifying legal risks and providing practical solutions
- Develop expertise in relevant legal areas, translating complex requirements into actionable guidance for teams
Required qualifications
- 5-8 years of legal experience, preferably at a top-tier law firm
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Strong experience in commercial contracting, particularly with SaaS and technology agreements
- Proven drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills
- Experience advising high-growth technology or regulated businesses
