State Licensed Associate Legal Counsel

Job Summary

Providing timely legal counsel, the remote State Licensed Associate Legal Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements while advising on intellectual property, data protection, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including product and services agreements and vendor/dealer agreements
• Provide legal advice on intellectual property issues, data protection, privacy, and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to interpret contracts and address legal concerns associated with commercial transactions

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in one or more states and in good standing
• 5+ years of legal experience in corporate law, focusing on commercial transactions
• Strong understanding of intellectual property, data protection, and privacy laws
• Experience with drafting and negotiating commercial transactions
