State Licensed Associate Legal Counsel

Job Summary

Providing timely legal counsel in a remote setting, the full-time State Licensed Associate Legal Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements while supporting sales and operations teams on legal matters related to transactions and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including product and services agreements and vendor/dealer agreements
• Provide legal advice on intellectual property, data protection, privacy, and regulatory compliance issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to interpret contracts and address legal concerns associated with commercial transactions

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in one or more states and in good standing
• 5+ years of legal experience in corporate law, focusing on commercial transactions
• Strong understanding of intellectual property and data protection laws
• Experience with drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial transactions
