Job Summary
To support legal operations, the full-time State Licensed Associate Legal Counsel will negotiate and draft agreements, conduct legal research on contract terms, and provide insights to business leaders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft agreements and amendments, and other legal documents
- Offer accurate and timely legal advice to executives regarding agreements with trading partners
- Ensure compliance with the Company's market security protocols and provide risk management advice
Required qualifications:
- Law degree with 2 years of related experience or equivalent work experience
- License to practice law in at least one state
- Experience in negotiating and drafting legal documents
- Knowledge of contract terms and principles of contract interpretation
- Ability to conduct legal research and evaluate risk factors related to business decisions
