Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Medical Director - Utilization Review.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage medical expertise to review service requests and deliver evidence-based determinations
• Conduct peer-to-peer calls with external providers to gather clinical information and discuss case outcomes
• Ensure compliance with national guidelines, regulations, and best practices in decision-making processes

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with current board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• 5 years of recent direct patient care experience, including 3 years in an acute care hospital setting
• Strong computer literacy and adeptness with technology
• Willingness to obtain up to 20 additional state licenses
• Must have passed each component of the USMLE, COMLEX-USA, or equivalent in no more than three attempts
