Job Summary
To support a mission-driven healthcare organization, the full-time State Licensed Associate Medical Director will provide direct patient care via telemedicine, supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer on clinical and compliance initiatives in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on the telemedicine platform and maintain patient records
- Manage the peer-review process for APPs and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines
- Host weekly office hours and prepare quarterly educational lectures for APPs
Required qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted Medical Licenses in the United States, with 20+ state licensure required including Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, and Tennessee
- Graduated from an accredited allopathic US Medical School
- Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Obstetrics/Gynecology with a focus on Women's Reproductive Health and/or Obesity Medicine
- Previous telemedicine experience (asynchronous and synchronous) preferred
- Exhibits a high level of professionalism in clinical duties
