Job Summary
Providing legal representation in administrative law judge hearings, the full-time State Licensed Attorney will manage pre-adjudicated case reviews and collaborate with medical professionals while working remotely and on weekends as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Participates in ALJ hearings as the attorney representative for the company
- Reviews and analyzes ALJ decisions for quality and provides training to improve decision-making
- Schedules and leads pre-hearing coordination meetings with Medicare contractors
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the state bar
- Three years of legal experience
- Experience with Medicare claims and administrative proceedings preferred
- Resided in the United States for at least three of the last five years
