Job Summary
Leading a team of Concept Development Analysts and Operations Administrators, the full-time State Licensed Audit Manager will oversee the development and execution of complex audit concepts, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and client policies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the audit team, ensuring performance standards are met and fostering a culture of collaboration
- Lead strategic initiatives and product development efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize business tools and processes
- Act as a subject matter expert in reimbursement methodologies and regulatory changes, identifying opportunities for concept refinement and innovation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or a related field
- State licensure or AHIMA/AAPC coding certification required
- At least 8 years of experience in healthcare, with a minimum of 3 years in medical record auditing
- Previous management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare coding systems and familiarity with Medicare reimbursement methodologies
