Job Summary

To ensure compliance in inpatient facility coding, the full-time remote State Licensed Audit Professional will be responsible for reviewing, auditing, and remediating deviations, training coding staff, and maintaining data integrity within the healthcare revenue cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review and audit inpatient facility coding for compliance and accuracy
• Train coding staff and educate workforce members on proper documentation and coding practices
• Oversee the generation and approval of coding queries to ensure timely responses

Required qualifications

• Seven years of auditing experience in a large academic hospital system or a Bachelor's Degree in a related area plus three years of auditing experience
• Thorough knowledge of the audit profession, internal control theories, and professional auditing standards
• Ability to gather, organize, and analyze data for moderately complex audit assignments
• Strong interpersonal skills to present sensitive information clearly to diverse audiences
• Specialized expertise in enterprise software and relational databases may be required
