State Licensed Auto Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing and processing complex bodily injury auto claims, the full-time State Licensed Auto Claims Examiner will review coverage, conduct investigations, determine liability, and evaluate damages while ensuring timely resolutions in a remote or onsite capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Process complex auto commercial and personal line claims, ensuring proper documentation and coding
• Manage the litigation process for litigated claims and coordinate with independent adjusters for investigations
• Develop action plans to meet state-required contact deadlines and communicate claim actions with relevant parties

Required qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience with in-depth knowledge of auto policies and laws
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business preferred
• Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position
