Job Summary
Evaluating auto claims involving injured parties, the full-time State Licensed Auto Claims Representative will manage first-party medical treatment to determine eligibility under personal injury protection and medical payment benefits while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review claims to assess medical losses and provide explanations of coverage
- Research policy contracts and interpret policy language to make coverage decisions
- Document all claim activity accurately throughout the life of the claim
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- State adjuster licenses required
- Three years of experience in Personal Injury Protection (PIP), medical payment, or workers compensation
- Knowledge of medical terminology and application of deductibles and limits
- Familiarity with Bodily Injury (BI)/Casualty adjusting is a plus
