Job Summary
A company is looking for an AVP, Finance & Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee GAAP, SEC, FINRA, and Statutory (SAP) financial reporting across business segments
- Ensure accurate accounting across key areas including investments, insurance products, and equity
- Maintain SOX-compliant internal controls over financial reporting and general ledger processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Statutory (SAP) accounting in the insurance industry
- Experience with financial systems and reporting tools
- Proven leadership, project management, and business partnering skills
