Job Summary
To support behavioral health services, the part-time State Licensed Behavior Analyst will provide utilization management and care management for ASD services, engaging with members and families remotely while ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate care among providers, care managers, and community organizations through assessments and advocacy for member health needs
- Conduct utilization reviews for ABA therapy, verify member eligibility, and educate stakeholders on medical necessity criteria and documentation standards
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with regulatory standards while participating in clinical staffing and continuing education
Required qualifications
- Current BCBA certification and licensure as applicable for the state of residence
- Direct experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in home and/or clinic settings
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Word and Excel
- Ability to comprehend and articulate medical policy and health information clearly
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check upon hire and throughout employment
