Job Summary

Serving as the primary legal partner for vendor relationships and commercial transactions, the remote Counsel, Business Services will draft and negotiate contracts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide legal advice to support business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor and technology agreements
• Collaborate with various teams to structure commercial relationships while managing legal and regulatory risks
• Provide day-to-day legal advice and support third-party risk management in vendor relationships

Required qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
• 4-6 years of relevant legal experience in consumer financial services or fintech
• Strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Understanding of consumer financial services regulations and their impact on commercial arrangements
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
