Job Summary
Leading a team in a remote environment, the full-time State Licensed Chief Security Architect will provide senior-level technical leadership and architectural direction for enterprise cybersecurity architecture and engineering activities supporting the VA COSE program.
Key responsibilities
- Provide architectural direction and serve as a principal security architecture and engineering subject matter expert
- Translate customer and regulatory requirements into enterprise security architectures and technical strategies
- Conduct security architecture reviews and oversee risk analyses to ensure compliance with VA and Federal policies
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Enterprise Security Architecture within large organizations or Government agencies
- Advanced degree in an IT-related field may substitute for up to 5 years of required experience
- Expertise in security architecture, project management, and risk management
- Proficiency in using Enterprise Architecture tools and frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP
- Experience in developing and modernizing health IT digital architectures, including cloud and AI technologies
