State Licensed Claim Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claim Specialist - Large Loss.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage higher exposure, complex claims, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws
• Conduct thorough investigations and make informed coverage decisions based on gathered information
• Collaborate with defense counsel and manage claim expenses, including vendor assignments

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of five years of claim handling or insurance-related experience required
• Completion of INS, AIC, or CPCU is preferred
• General Liability and/or Professional Liability experience preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain state adjusting license requirements
