Job Summary

To manage claims submitted under state regulations, the full-time remote State Licensed Claims Attorney will investigate claims, analyze coverage, and provide litigation support while maintaining accurate claim files and reserves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate claims by gathering relevant documents and analyzing coverage under policies
  • Recommend and supervise outside or in-house counsel for litigation, including managing case strategy and performance
  • Provide periodic briefings to management and respond to Department of Insurance inquiries related to claims
Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar license in at least one state
  • Three or more years of experience in title and/or real estate law, with a strong preference for title insurance experience
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
