Job Summary

To support claims resolution, the remote, full-time State Licensed Claims Counsel will investigate and handle title insurance claims, assist Claims Management with managerial tasks, and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations of claims and develop strategies for resolution, focusing on complex legal issues
  • Negotiate with claimants and third parties for settlement, and supervise litigation as needed
  • Draft agreements and educational materials while providing training and support to staff
Required qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate Degree
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. state
  • Minimum five years' experience in title insurance claims administration or real estate law
  • Ability to read and analyze legal documents and prepare presentations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
